We currently operate a fleet of 2 B206’s, 5 AS350’s 1 AS365 and 1 B205 Helicopters in the utility market, supporting several industries in Northeastern BC. Qwest Heli has been serving Northeastern BC since 2002 and has built a reputation on providing high quality service to its clients. The successful applicant will have excellent pay, and a flexible work schedule.
This position will require the candidates to relocate to the Fort Nelson area.
Candidates will need to meet the following:
- Experience & Education
- Valid AME Transport Canada License with M1 and or M2 ratings
- Experience either performing or supervising helicopter maintenance; six months of which has been within the preceding two years
- Ability to manage and oversee AME’s and apprentices time and work related tasks through a work order system and maintenance tracking system
- Ability to troubleshoot & repair aircraft
- Proven working knowledge with general aircraft repair, fabrication and/or installation
- Must have strong English (written & spoken) communication skills and pass the Transport Canada PRM interview
- Valid Class 5 Drivers' License
- Duties & Responsibilities
- Comply & follow Qwest Helicopters Maintenance Policy Manual
- Disassemble, inspect, record discrepancies, recommend & record methods of repair
- Oversee & participate in the repair of parts and components
- Ensure accuracy & traceability of parts that are removed or installed on aircraft with the appropriate record keeping
- Ensure all applicable airworthiness requirements are met with proactive forecasting of maintenance events
You must be able to work alone and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Renumeration 160K – 180K depending on experience.
