Rapid emergency rescue by air and safe patient transport by helicopter and air ambulance – that's what the non-profit DRF Luftrettung stands for. We are one of the leading air rescue organizations in Europe and fly more than 40,000 missions annually.
Our crews are ready to take off 365 days a year to save lives. We operate state-of-the-art helicopters, such as the H135 and H145 five-blade rotors, as well as two air ambulances. Our in-house maintenance facility is approved according to EASA Regulation Part 145 and certified according to ISO 9001. At our maintenance facility at Baden-Airpark in Rheinmünster, our highly qualified technicians ensure the airworthiness of our helicopter and aircraft fleet. This creates the conditions for the fastest and safest possible rescue of our patients. In our in-house, certified development facility, our colleagues implement helicopter modifications independently and innovatively.
We are currently looking for support for our line maintenance department, which operates throughout Germany !
Your tasks
- Release work: As the responsible certifying staff member, you and your team will perform regular or unscheduled maintenance, modifications, troubleshooting, and troubleshooting on aircraft and components, as assigned and instructed, and in compliance with current regulations. You will plan the necessary spare parts, tools, and resources, adhering to deadlines and ensuring efficient resource planning.
- Maintenance company: You ensure compliance with work standards, the sharing of information and thus the optimization of workflows and processes.
- Documentation: In accordance with the specifications, you carefully document the work carried out and the results of the inspections and controls.
- Quality control: You regularly check the tools provided for completeness and condition (calibration if necessary). You also ensure compliance with safety regulations, accident prevention regulations, and occupational health and safety.
- Deviations: If deviations from the specifications and standards occur, report them to the relevant departments.
Your profile
- Aircraft Maintenance License CAT B1 and/or B2 with type rating for helicopters of the types BK 117 Series and EC 135 Series
- Many years of experience with the aforementioned aircraft types and good knowledge of European and national aviation law
- Independent working style, ability to work in a team and good English skills
- Willingness to travel and work, even outside regular working hours
- Requirements for a valid reliability check according to LuftSiG § 7

Wir sind eine der führenden Luftrettungsorganisationen in Europa und fliegen mehr als 40.000 Einsätze im Jahr. Unsere Besatzungen sind 365 Tage im Jahr startklar, um Menschenleben zu retten. Wir verfügen über hochmoderne Hubschrauber wie die Muster H135 und H145 mit Fünfblattrotor sowie zwei Ambulanzflugzeuge. Unser eigener Instandhaltungsbetrieb ist nach EASA Regulation Part 145 zugelassen und nach ISO 9001 zertifiziert. In unserer Werft am Baden-Airpark in Rheinmünster stellen unsere hoch qualifizierten Technikerinne und Techniker die Lufttüchtigkeit der Hubschrauber- und Flugzeugflotte sicher. Damit schaffen sie die Voraussetzung für die schnellstmögliche und sichere Rettung unserer Patienten. Im eigenen, zulassungsberechtigten Entwicklungsbetrieb setzen unsere Kolleginnen und Kollegen Hubschraubermodifikationen eigenständig und innovativ um.

Ihre Aufgaben
- Freigabearbeiten: Als verantwortlicher Certifying Staff führen Sie gemeinsam mit Ihrem Team regelmäßige oder außerplanmäßige Wartungen, Modifikationen, Störbehebungen und Fehlersuchen an Luftfahrzeugen und Komponenten, gemäß Beauftragung und Anweisung, unter Berücksichtigung der aktuellen Vorschriften durch. Hierbei planen Sie die erforderlichen Ersatzteile, Werkzeuge und Hilfsmittel unter Beachtung der Terminvorgaben und einer effizienten Ressourcenplanung.
- Instandhaltungsbetrieb: Sie achten auf das Einhalten des Arbeitsstandards, der Weitergabe von Informationen und somit der Optimierung von Arbeitsabläufen und Prozessen bei.
- Dokumentation: Gemäß den Vorgaben dokumentieren Sie sorgfältig die ausgeführten Arbeiten und Ergebnisse der Inspektionen und Kontrollen.
- Qualitätskontrolle: Sie prüfen regelmäßig die überlassenen Werkzeuge auf Vollständigkeit und deren Zustand (ggf. Kalibrierung). Zusätzlich achten Sie auf die Sicherheitsbestimmungen, Unfallverhütungsvorschriften sowie dem Arbeits- und Gesundheitsschutz.
- Abweichungen: Bei auftretenden Abweichungen von den Vorgaben und Standards melden Sie diese an die entsprechenden Stellen.
Ihr Profil
- Aircraft Maintenance License CAT B1 und/oder B2 mit Musterberechtigung für Hubschrauber der Muster BK 117 Series und EC 135 Series
- Langjährige Erfahrungen an den vorgenannten Luftfahrzeugmustern und gute Kenntnisse des europäischen und nationalen Luftrechts
- Selbstständige Arbeitsweise, Teamfähigkeit und gute Englischkenntnisse
- Reisebereitschaft und Einsatzbereitschaft, auch außerhalb der regulären Dienstzeit
- Voraussetzungen für eine gültige Zuverlässigkeitsüberprüfung gem. LuftSiG § 7
