Are you a specialist with a passion for emergency medicine and want to not only fly but also have a say in the decisions? Then become part of our medical management team at our Munich location. As a department head, you will be responsible for the provision of medical services at the ADAC Air Rescue locations, develop innovative care concepts, and contribute your expertise to strategic decisions and committee work. Flying is optional.

- Medical responsibility in air rescue – You will strengthen our medical management team and ensure the provision of medical services in air rescue. You will make a significant contribution to ensuring a high quality of care.
- Quality assurance and compliance with legal requirements – Your responsibilities also include monitoring medical structural and process quality. Furthermore, you will ensure compliance with the legal framework in the (air) rescue service.
- Data management and scientific collaboration – You will work with the entire team to develop optimized care and operational tactics using available medical data. These activities will be incorporated into scientific analyses.
- Concept development and operational development – You are responsible for the operational needs of the medical crew at our air rescue locations and can rely on a competent and long-standing experienced team of emergency medical technicians and emergency medical technicians.
- Representation and committee work – You will actively represent your area of responsibility in emergency medical committees and contribute your professional expertise in a targeted manner. In communication with our cooperation partners, you will draft contractual agreements and ensure a sound operational basis.
- Prospects and additional deployment opportunities – You will represent the Head of the Medical Department and act as an interface between operational management and the strategic development of the Medical Department. Participation in the operational air rescue service is possible.
Your profile
- You have a solid foundation in theory and practice – you have completed specialist training in emergency medicine and have many years of experience in the acute and emergency medical care of patients of all ages. Additional training in emergency medicine, or alternatively, rescue medicine, further builds your skills. Ideally, you also have a ZWB (certified intensive care medicine) or other training certified by a medical association, e.g., medical quality management, LNA, or ÄLRD.
- Professional experience – You can look back on extensive emergency medical expertise and several years of professional experience in (air) rescue services, which enables you to act quickly and precisely even in demanding and stressful situations.
- Human resources management – Experience in managing employees is an advantage, as this role involves performing human resources management tasks.
- What rounds out your profile – Your profile is rounded out by strong conceptual and administrative skills. Participation in committees and clear and balanced communication strengthen your focus on the common goal. Flexibility, high motivation, and a high level of commitment round out your profile.

The ADAC applies, among other things, the collective bargaining agreement for the private insurance industry.
