Are you an experienced EASA Part 66 B1.3 Licensed Engineer ready to work in a dynamic offshore helicopter environment?
At our Den Helder base, you will play a key role in keeping our H160 and AW139 fleet (and occasionally H175) mission-ready and safe. You’ll join a close-knit team of 8 engineers, working in a professional yet supportive environment where safety, teamwork and technical excellence come first.
Please note:Â Due to operational requirements, candidates must reside within reasonable commuting distance of the Den Helder base.
Your Role
As a B1.3 Engineer, you are responsible for performing and certifying line maintenance in accordance with approved maintenance data and company procedures.
You work closely with fellow engineers under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, reporting hierarchically to the Base Manager and functionally to the Maintenance Lead.
You are more than a certifying engineer — you are a problem solver, safety ambassador and key contributor to operational continuity.
What You’ll Be Doing
Line Maintenance & Technical Excellence
- Perform and certify maintenance tasks in accordance with approved maintenance data
- Execute work orders while respecting all applicable restrictions
- Raise non-routine tasks and defect entries for unscheduled findings
- Ensure Independent Inspections on safety-critical tasks
- Record and certify all maintenance accurately in the work file
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety regulations and MOE procedures
- Report safety hazards and occurrences via the reporting system
- Flag inaccurate, incomplete or unclear procedures
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace with properly maintained tools
Operational Support
- Contribute to flexible and efficient work planning
- Ensure maintenance is completed within operational deadlines
- Coordinate with Supply Chain and Stores to guarantee parts availability
- Perform daily technical analysis and problem-solving based on crew feedback
👨‍🔧 What You Bring
Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience as a licensed engineer
- Type-rated experience on the H160
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience on H160, AW139 and/or H175 aircraft
- Experience in multiple aviation organizations is a plus
Qualifications
- EASA Part 66 B1.3 License (mandatory)
- H160 type rating (required)
- AW139 and/or H175 type ratings are a plus
Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and logical thinking skills
- Confident communicator (flight crew debriefings & shift handovers)
- Able to work independently in less controlled environments
- Proactive, flexible and solution-oriented
- ICT literate (Rusada Envision knowledge is a plus)
- Professional level of English
- Living within commuting distance of Den Helder
