Are you an experienced helicopter pilot with 2000+ hours, an FI(H) qualification and examiner privileges? If you’re looking for a senior instructional role with a highly reputable UK ATO, this opportunity will interest you.
Our client is a long-established helicopter operator and training organisation with a strong safety culture, modern fleet, and an excellent reputation within the UK rotary community. They are now looking to strengthen their training team with an experienced instructor who can take on senior responsibilities within the school.
The Role
You will play a key part in delivering high-quality rotary training while supporting the continued development of the training organisation. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering PPL(H), CPL(H), and advanced training
- Conducting flight tests and examiner duties (where approved)
- Supporting junior instructors and maintaining training standards
- Overseeing or contributing to training compliance and documentation
- Ensuring the highest levels of safety, professionalism and student care
This is a role for someone who enjoys instructing, wants long-term stability, and can bring both experience and leadership to a busy operation.
Requirements
✔ Minimum 2000 helicopter hours
✔ FI(H) qualification
✔ Examiner privileges (FE/CRE/TRE/IRE(H)) preferred
✔ Strong instructional background
✔ High standards of safety, communication and airmanship
✔ UK right to live and work
Type ratings are beneficial but not essential — our client is open to a range of helicopter backgrounds.
