We are seeking AW189 First Officers to join our team.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure all the operations are performed in a safe and efficient way, without violation, accident or incident directly associated to miss-conduct.
- Maintain familiarity with relevant national and international air legislation and agreed aviation practices and procedures.
- Maintain familiarity with the Company operations manual necessary to fulfil the function, ensuring that all operational procedures and checklists are complied with.
- Carry out duties concerning the flight in accordance with the operations manuals (including procedures, limitations, and performance relating to the specific helicopter type).
- Comply with all flight and duty time limitations (FTL) and rest requirements applicable.
- Be responsible for the operation and safety of the helicopter, its crew members, passengers and cargo on board from pre-flight to post flight.
- Before beginning a flight ensure all available information appropriate to the intended operation are collected (current weather reports and forecasts, fuel requirements and an alternative course of action if the flight cannot be completed as planned without infringing Company operating minima).
- Maintain a proper standard of crew discipline, conduct, and personal appearance.
- Be familiar with the preparation of operational flight plans, including fuel planning and mass and center of gravity calculations.
- Report any fault, failure, malfunction, or defect which the crew member believes may affect the airworthiness or safe operation of the aircraft including emergency systems, if not already reported by another crew member.
- Properly maintain and wear mandatory protective personal equipment as provided by the Company in accordance with the Regulations.
- Support an open environment for CRM and actively use high quality crew monitoring procedures.
Minimum requirements:
First Officer:
- Valid EASA ATP(H) or CPL(H) license or EASA license validation (for pilots with ICAO license) endorsed with type to be operated.
- Valid IR(H) endorsed on type to be operated.
- Valid medical certificate (class 1)
- Minimum 500 hours of multi engine/multi crew flight time in helicopters.
- Minimum of 10 hours of night time.
- Minimum of 50 hours IFR.
- Minimum of 50 hours on type.
- Proficient in English (speaking and writing).
- Flexibility.
- Able and inclined to work in international teams.
- Good interpersonal relation.
