Are you an experienced helicopter hoist operator and licensed engineer with a passion for safety and efficiency?
Join our team to execute both scheduled and unscheduled Helicopter Hoist Operations (HHO) flights. The helicopter B1.3 or B2 Engineer / Hoist Operator is responsible for the maintenance (line) of the helicopters and execution of the hoist operations. He/she works in a team of engineers and pilots, and reports to the Base Manager. You will travel between bases in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Poland.
LIne Maintenance
- Comply with the requirements as described in the regulations;
- Ensure that all line maintenance tasks carried out to helicopters meet the standard of the BCAA/EASA and M.O.E. instructions;
- Ensure, together with all Engineers, a variable & flexible work planning & work roster based on business needs that supports & realizes business continuity;
- Ensure that all maintenance is completed within the appropriate time scales to ensure provision of a serviceable aircraft to meet the operational need;
- Ensure, based on pilot & all other relevant information, daily problem analysis & problem solving;
- Ensure briefing & debriefing of pilots and Chief Engineer;
- Ensure that PRF (preflight check) is performed;
- Ensure, in cooperation with NHV Supply Chain, Store & support services that the necessary maintenance material & spare parts are present on site at the planned moment: material in service car, consumables, limited service stock, work material, material needed for normal day-to-day line maintenance, exceptional material supplied for exceptional line maintenance or small repair tasks;
- Report daily on the maintenance situation to the Chief Engineer.
HHO Helicopter Hoist operations
- Coordinate the passenger- and aircraft handling procedures before and after flights.
- Assist with the technical preparation of flights.
- Carrying out HHO flight duties, in accordance with NHV's SOP's related to the allocated helicopter type.
- Know the NHV procedures and the Flight Operations Manual.
- Leading by example and promoting a team spirit amongst colleagues.
- Respecting the code of conduct and overall behavior towards the whole NHV team, as well as respecting the Drugs & Alcohol policy.
You
- have an EASA Part 66 B1.3 or B2 License
- have minimum 5 years of relevant experience in aviation and as a licensed engineer
- are preferably type rated on the H175
- have a Medical class 2
- have proven experience as a Helicopter Hoist Operator
- are ICT literate (specific aviation software & MS Office)
- have an English ICAO Level 4
- are a good communicator: debriefing to Pilots, Flight crew and Chief Engineer, handover of work from/to previous/next shift, briefing of passengers
- are able to work independently when performing in a less controlled environment
- take initiative to improve your work and complete tasks within appropriate time scales
