Ko wai tātou | Job Overview
We are seeking 4 dynamic and motivated Clinical Trainers to ensure SRSL meets and maintains its contractual clinical service delivery. These roles will focus on leading the day-to-day delivery of clinical education & clinical support across SRSL, with the aim of developing and delivering a clinically excellent & competent workforce across our medically qualified ACO’s and CCFPs.
The ideal candidate will bring experience as an experienced and motivated clinician with a passion for education.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our lifesaving service. For applicants with a current Critical Care Paramedic ATP, this role will be based around a 33% roster cover as a Critical Care Flight Paramedic & 67% creating/implementing course material along with face-to-face clinical delivery.

Tohu me te wheako |Qualifications & Experience
· Significant breadth of CCP clinical experience within paramedicine and aviation. Previous academic teaching experience with a working knowledge and experience with Clinical Simulation
· Able to maintain a prioritised workplan, and model clinical excellence to other clinicians in a positive patient focused approach while advocating for clinical safety and patient experience.
· Knowledge of current clinical practice guidelines, research, patient pathways and models of care, with prior experience in adult education and a comprehensive understanding of educational frameworks, moderation and NZQA requirements, with a sound knowledge and appreciation of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application for SRSL in the community and health-care environment.

· Highly developed communication skills, with a passion for best practice and patient care, keeping current with the latest clinical research. “Can do” attitude focused on achieving results and doing what is required to achieve success.
· Preferably have at least 4 years’ experience as a Critical Care Paramedic and hold a Post Graduate qualification in critical care or equivalent.
· A commitment to your own personal growth
· A passion for building our clinical education capability and fostering clinical excellence
· Proficient in using various computer software, including the Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related applications.
· Flexibility to support clinical delivery in some night or weekend session when needed
