Primary Roles & Responsibilities
Instructor SART/TAC Mesa -USCG Schools:
You will qualify to perform the role and responsibilities as Lead Instructor for U.S. Coast Guard MH-60T and MH-65D/E Flight Mech (FM) training courses, which include:
• Perform MH-60T and MH-65D/E Classroom and Ground presentations.
• Perform MH-60T and MH-65D/E Hoist Procedural Tower (HPT) instruction.
• Perform MH-60T and MH-65D/E Advanced Aircrew Mission Simulator (AAMS) instruction.
• Perform Rescue SwimmerInstructional Assistance and Training.
• Perform all Pre- and Post-Admin FM “C” schoolwork activities.
Instructor SART/TAC Mesa -USAF Schools:
You will qualify to perform the role and responsibilities as Lead Instructor for U.S. Air Force MH-139A training courses, which include:
• Perform MH-139A Classroom and Ground presentations.
• Perform MH-139A Hoist Procedural Tower (HPT) instruction. • Perform MH-139A Advanced Aircrew Mission Simulator (AAMS) instruction. • Perform Special Mission Aviator instructional assistance and training.
• Perform all Pre- and Post-Admin course activities.
Secondary Roles & Responsibilities
Instructor SART/TAC Mesa, SART/TAC Bordeaux, and Remote - Part 133 Class D HEC:
You will be qualified as a P1AR designated instructor to provide the following types of training using P1AR Part 133 Class D HEC Compliant Hoist Qualification Training programs:
• Initial Part 133 Class D Hoist Ground School and Static Aircraft Training for Pilots, Hoist System Operators (SO), and Rescue Specialists (RS) under instruction.
• Initial Part 133 Class D Hoist Flight Training Overland for SAR Pilots, Hoist System Operators (SO), and Rescue Specialists (RS) under instruction. • Initial Part 133 Class D Hoist Flight Training forOffshore Flight Training – Vessel, Platforms, and Rescue Swimmer Operations.
• HEC Recurrency Standardization Checks for SAR Pilots and P1AR SOs and RSs at required intervals.
• P1AR Search and Rescue Tactical Training Academy (SART/TAC) Instructor/Operator using Advanced Aircrew Mission Simulator (AAMS) and Hoist Procedural Tower (HPT).
SAR/Aerial Gunnery Instructor
• Minimum of 1000 Rotary Hours, performing operational Search and Rescue (SAR/CSAR)
• Minimum of 50 hrs NVIS operations including hoist SAR/Tactical operations training and qualifications from a sound and recognized international commercial SAR operator, US based parapublic SAR/Law Enforcement, or military service.
• US National Registry Emergency Medical Technician Basic (EMT/B). Time may be given to complete initial-re/certification.
• Experience and background as a Technical Flight Crew Training Instructor, Flight Examination Board, and / or Standardization Team
• Physically fit (must pass pre-entry physical appropriate to safely conduct relevant duties)
