ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently looking for experienced EC135 Pilots to join us for a multi-season project based out of Inuvik, NWT. This project runs annually from May to early September and will have equal time rotations. This is a unique opportunity to spend your non-working summer days in beautiful British Columbia, with optional room and board at our Pemberton crew house, which is located 20 minutes north of Whistler and is immersed in incredible nature and biking trails.

YOU WILL 

  • Fly the aircraft in a safe and professional manner to a high standard in accordance with the policies and directions of the employer within the procedures of the Flight Manual, MCM and CARs; 
  • Take full responsibility for the safety of the aircraft, crew and its occupants; 
  • Fill out and submit paperwork in timely and accurate manner; 
  • Take responsibility to track and monitor flight hours, days worked, days off and any requirement set in CARs and the Blackcomb Helicopters Operations Manual; And all other duties as required by the Company from time to time.

WHAT YOU OFFER 

  • A valid Canadian Commercial Pilot’s License 
  • A minimum of 2000 hours of rotary flight time; o 100+ hours on EC135 (an asset) o 250+ hours on multi engine (an asset) 
  • Accident and incident free for the last 5 consecutive years; 
  • Group IV instrument rating required; 
  • Safety driven and committed – you put safety above everything else; 
  • Legally entitled to work within Canada, and legally entitled to travel within the United States for bi-annual training.
