Job Description

Regional Sales Manager, Norway will be the primary Bell representative for two large accounts at different stages of the buying cycle. The first account requires execution of the 525 Operational Evaluation (OpEval) project, including planning, facilitating oversees offshore operations, contract execution and performance monitoring. The second account requires delivering a fleet of (10) Bell 525 aircraft and coordination Entry Into Service (EIS) efforts in Norway.

Further Regional Sales Manager´s responsibility is the strategy, development, marketing and sales activities of Bell’s entire commercial product line in Norway and Iceland. Sales activity will include direct sales and managing Independent Representative Sales. This position requires interaction with private, commercial customers, Para-public and government agencies . Position also requires close coordination and interaction with other stakeholders within Bell and Textron.

Account Manager Responsibilities

· Serve as Bell’s primary representative, internally and externally, with multiple customers for 525 OpEval, EIS, and delivery of aircraft including the first (10) contracted offshore helicopters into Norway.

  • Lead an OpEval Project Team aligned with Bell core values that establishes and achieves all OpEval and Aircraft Delivery Key Performance Indicator metrics.
  • Develop collaborative relationships resulting in a high level of Customer satisfaction and positive relationships within the Project Team.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with _Norwegian leading Energy company for their Working Group Committees, sources the appropriate Bell resources and responses internally to satisfy their requirements and provides feedback.
  • Manage, track, and report all contract requirement deliverables to include primary responsibility for facilitating customer Project team meetings, delivery meetings, Milestone reviews, etc.
  • Conduct an internal Monthly Review and Report – Manage, track, and report on risks, issues and opportunities, financial budgets, and contractual requirements at the execution level.
  • Assist in the identification and development of additional aircraft kits to facilitate key mission requirements in the Offshore, SAR, and Utility mission profiles. Ensure effective communication within Bell regarding customer requirements and Program/Engineering effort required to satisfy needs.

Sales Manager Responsibilities

· Manages Bell’s commercial sales and marketing efforts within assigned region.

  • Responsible for customer relationships with state government and commercial markets.
  • Represent, negotiate and sell for Bell at all levels within private and civil government agencies.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans for all near term and long-term opportunities in territory.
  • Identifies and develops opportunities to grow regional market share, develop relationships for longer term sales prospects and respond to tenders aligned with the global sales strategy for product sales and manufacturing partnership opportunities.
  • Qualify and develop opportunities to grow regional 525 market share, develop relationships for longer term sales prospects and respond to tenders aligned with the global 525 sales strategy.
  • Coordinate with internal teams in preparing formal proposals and RFI responses, requiring collaboration with contracts, pricing, the 525 program and Bell Customer Service and Support to maximize sales opportunities within the region.

Participate in regular executive level briefs as required

Further responsibility:

· Collect and analyze market information, detailed research the business opportunity and demands.

  • Partners with development and engineering teams to incorporate Voice of the Customer feedback into new products and modifications.
  • Continually review and analyze marketing information including prepared reports and professional periodicals and news sources indigenous to territory.
  • Partner with the Bell Helicopter Customer Service and Support organization to maximize sales opportunities within assigned region.
  • Maintain accurate customer information within CRM tool.
  • Generate and verify defined report to the management and other department as needed.
  • Organize customer events and lead customer engagement during Airshows
  • Manage daily administrative work, take other responsibility assigned by the management

· Responsible for ensuring that all activities are conducted in compliance with the Textron Business Conduct Guidelines.

Skills You Bring To this Role

· Bachelors Degree in engineering (preferably aircraft engineering) or Business Management or any equivalent qualification which is considered suitable for the job plus five or more years of aviation related industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex, geographically distributed organization with multiple value streams to achieve successful outcomes
  • Proficient use of Project Management tools, processes, and systems. Functional skills with software tools such as PPM and Premier toolset, Microsoft Project and Excel. Demonstrated ability to quickly and proactively solve problems and resolve issues.
  • Ability to travel internationally, up to 50%; with additional ability to remain on-site during OpEval period as required, and within Norway and Iceland as primary region.
  • Experience in offshore helicopter segment is a plus
  • Bell 525 technical knowledge is highly desirable.
