Manage the fuel systems for aircraft refueling from Valdez to Homer to Deadhorse to include reordering fuel as needed and supporting the outlying bases. Airport Fueling Safety training will be provided.
Requirements for this position include a minimum of one year of maintenance or similar experience, a current driver’s license. Must be able to pass an extensive drug test, (urinalysis and hair follicle). A CDL is preferred but not required. Hazmat and trailer endorsement will be added. Other requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, good verbal and written communication skills, a polite and professional approach and excellent customer service skills. Position requires some weekend, evenings, some overnight, and holidays.
In addition the fuel manager is responsible for responding to maintenance requests as directed. This position will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose problems and repairs in the areas of boilers, forced air heaters, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry wall, appliances etc. Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness and work with outside contractors as needed. Provide excellent customer service to employees of the company.
