The post


As a Technical Expert in Aeronautics, you will be responsible for:

- Technical Analysis: Carry out in-depth technical analyses of aeronautical systems (mechanical, electrical, avionics, etc.) to determine the probable causes of accidents and incidents.


- Report Writing: Write detailed reports on investigations conducted, including conclusions and recommendations to improve aviation safety.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with other experts (pilots, engineers, doctors, etc.) and regulatory authorities to ensure a comprehensive and objective analysis of accidents.
- Claims Management: Manage claims files, assess damage observed, in coordination with internal teams and external partners (experts, lawyers, etc.).


- Risk Assessment: Analyze and assess the risks associated with aeronautical operations, including risks related to aircraft, airport infrastructure, and flight operations.
- Client Consulting and Support: Audit and provide technical and strategic advice to clients on best practices in aeronautical risk management.
- Regulatory and Technical Monitoring: Ensure continuous monitoring of regulatory, technical and technological developments in the field of aeronautics.
- Participate in the commercial development of the activity by identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the loyalty of existing customers.


Profile sought


- Education: Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanics, Electronics, or equivalent or military aeronautical diploma

- Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in the field of aeronautical accident investigation or aeronautical engineering.

- Technical skills: In-depth knowledge of aeronautical systems, accident investigation methodologies and international regulations (such as ICAO).

- Personal skills: Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, rigor, sense of observation, ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively.

- Languages: Fluency in English required


- An appetite for figures (financial estimation of damages to be carried out in expert reports)


- A program culture is necessary.
