Job Duties:
PILOT CREW APPLICATION Workers will perform duties on a farm for a farm like: Pilot will fly Robinson R-44 and R-66 Helicopters for East High Flying Inc. by applying chemical and fertilizer to crops on farmers fields. Ground Crew Duties will include: Fuel the plane by connecting and disconnecting fuel hose to and from the airplane. Mix chemicals - Read and understand a load ticket. Load the plane with chemical by connecting and disconnecting load hose to and from plane. Load plane with fertilizer by driving and operating loader truck as well as operate forklift. Clean all equipment daily. Mow airstrips. Must have or be able to obtain an FAA Commercial Single Engine Land pilot license within 90 days with current medical. Current bi-annual flight review required. Must have or be able to obtain a state specific aerial applicators license and certification. Must have at least 1000 hours total time. Must have 500 hours Pilot in Command. Must have minimum requirements from a certified ag school plus ag flying experience. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. In addition, agricultural pilots must be registered as commercial pesticide applicators in their state and meet the requirements of Federal Aviation Regulations Part 137 for low-level aviation operators.
