Helicopter Institute is seeking experienced Flight Instructors for a newly acquired contract in North Florida. This is a one-year short-term employment position with the potential to convert to full-time employment.
Position Details:
• Aircraft: Single-engine turbine helicopters
• Duration: One year (April 1, 2025, start date)
• Flight Hours: ~900 flight hours over the contract period
• Training Program: FAA Part 141 Private Pilot & Instrument Rating course
• Training Course: Six (6) classes, sixteen (16) weeks duration, two students per Instructor
• Shifts: AM or PM shifts; periodic night flights required
• Concurrent Classes: Only two classes running simultaneously
Minimum Requirements:
• US Citizen or legal to work in the US (verifiable)
• FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI/CFII)
• Class 2 Medical (minimum)
• 1,000 hours total time
• 500 hours dual given
• Robinson R44 or R66 experience
• Positive, verifiable recommendations from previous employers
Preferred Experience:
• Turbine helicopter experience
• Night Vision Goggle (NVG) experience
Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary: $100,000+
