Northwest Helicopters, LLC has been serving the helicopter industry since 1978 and is accepting
applications for a full-time commercial helicopter pilot.
NWH provides services to US agencies and
departments, large national utility (powerline & infrastructure) and high-tech companies, as well as
smaller customers and individuals. Applicants must be open to fly all missions and aircraft in our fleet.
Job Duties:
The position covers all aspects of operations for all types of missions. The duties include but are not
limited to, flight and operational planning (91/133/135/137), weight and balance data, fuel
management, accurate tracking of duty, flight and maintenance times, compliance with all FAR and
company policies, as well as a variety of customer service functions and customer SOP’s. Strict
adherence to the Rotorcraft Flight Manual, FAA manuals, and company and customer policies is
required.

Ability to pilot aircraft in our fleet:
• Bell 206 (B and L)
• MD 500 series
• Bell UH-1H
• Sikorsky UH-60
Job Requirements:
• Must be able to act as company representative on projects.
• Aviation knowledge
• Safety above all and participating in SMS culture required.
• Ability to work effectively independently and within a team
• Longline/Vertical Reference Proficiency
• Proficient in high altitude operations/mountain flying
• Microsoft Office
• Excellent people and communication skills
• Deep snow landing and cold weather experience
Required Qualifications / Licenses:
• Commercial rotorcraft helicopter license
• Current medical – 2nd class
• Current driver license with clean driving record.
Preferred Additional Experience and Skills:
• ATP and/or CFI rating
• USFS carded
Minimum Certification Required:
Commercial Pilot
Minimum
Flight Hours Required:
1500 PIC, 500 Turbine
