The Chief Pilot reports to the Director of Operations, manages the company flight training program, supervises all company pilots, and ensures all flight operations are conducted safely and to the highest degree of professionalism in accordance with all appropriate Federal Aviation Regulations, company manuals, directives, and policies and procedures. The Chief Pilot shall meet all requirements under 14 CFR 119.71.

Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), Bachelor’s Degree, and four to six years related experience and/or training as set forth in the following:
Language Ability
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, electronic tablets, applicable flight planning software, and electronic flight and duty tracking software.
