The role
As a Barton Base Pilot, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will support the Northwest Air Ambulance Charity through varied and challenging flying across a range of disciplines including Air Ambulance, HEMS, and NVIS operations, if required.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll 

 

  • Support HEMS, operating the H145 D3 helicopter.
  • Fly for the Northwest Air Ambulance charity.
  • Health and safety responsibilities and strong understanding of required Aviation regulations.

 

This role is full time, 7am – 7pm, 12-hour shifts and 4 on and 4 off - this includes training hours. This role is based in Eccles, Greater Manchester.

 

Essential experience of the Barton Base Pilot:

  • Current or recent HEMS experience.
  • Have experience of flight with Night Vision Goggles.

 

Qualifications for the Barton Base Pilot:

  • Be qualified and instrument rated on both the EC135 and EC145.
