• Investigate safety reports, assign Safety Management scores, and analyze data to promptly identify and implement risk mitigations. 

• Model and cultivate an organizational just culture to encourage best safety practices. 

• Lead the effective application and maintenance of Management Systems, contributing to continuous improvement in hazard identification and safety risk assessment schemes. 

• Provide safety guidance and recommendations to Senior Leadership. 

• Lead safety training sessions as required. 

• Engage actively in weekly and monthly Safety Committees, Risk Assessments, and Change Management processes. 

• Conduct follow-up audits on previously completed safety actions. 

• Be available 24/7 when the Emergency Response Plan is activated. 

• Develop, foster, and maintain relationships with site quality and safety managers, and general manager. 

• Engage with the site Leadership Team to communicate significant safety initiatives and policy changes that may affect site personnel. 

• Act as the Site DCMA Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing advice and guidance to site personnel relative to DCMA engagements, issues, and concerns. 

• Utilize analytical tools and methods to identify and develop solutions for systemic customer concerns, identify and implement Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) initiatives. Measure and monitor customer satisfaction while informing the site leadership team of negative audit trends. 

• Server as a Safety representative for all site activities that may include development of job safety analysis, incident investigation lead, managing site confined space program, etc. 

• Author, revise, and maintain configuration control of site Ground and Flight procedures. 

• Oversee facility safety requirements and ensure completion. 

• Complete other tasks as assigned. 

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: 

• AS9100/ISO9001 Lead Auditor experience required. 

• ITAR Experience Preferred 

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. 

• Must be a team player and have high attention to detail. 

• Understanding of business metrics and report preparation. 

• Ability to manage multiple sites in a fast-paced environment. 

• Writing and oral communication skills sufficient to prepare reports and to discuss equipment malfunction.
