The Aviation Records Technician is responsible for ensuring all Life Flight Networks aviation data is recorded and maintained in compliance with FAA regulations and company policies and procedures. Daily duties will include collection of aircraft logs and maintenance work records, accuracy of those records, filing and maintaining hard copies of aircraft flight logs and maintenance documents.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3 years recording keeping and/or equivalent administrative experience in the aviation industry
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Office proficiency
  • Advanced knowledge of aircraft logbooks and maintenance records
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, specifically as applied to Aircraft Records and operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and work independently or with a team
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Able to travel by personal or company vehicle throughout LFN’s service area. Must possess a valid driver’s license and automobile in good repair, provide proof of auto insurance and meet LFN’s Driver’s Policy requirements

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • Maintains aircraft records, maintenance data and flight data in accordance with FAA regulations and company policy
  • Screens aircraft and engine maintenance log pages to ensure compliance with current regulation and manufacturer maintenance programs
  • Monitors the use and accuracy of Life Flight Networks electronic record keeping system
  • Perform periodic and scheduled record audits for completeness and accuracy
  • Prepares reports and obtains data from files or data bases as requested
  • Performs administrative and administrative duties as required
