Position Purpose
Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance on Airbus Helicopters models in a dynamic field environment. Applies technical knowledge of A&P systems to determine equipment malfunctions and applies expertise in restoring aircraft to safe, airworthy condition. Worksites are located in various US locations. Regular travel is required. This position reports directly to onsite management and Director of Services. 


Essential Functions

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance of Airbus Helicopters models EC145/H145/LUH-72.
  • Perform daily/post flight/thru flight inspections as required and performs necessary maintenance to correct any malfunctions.
  • Review work of subordinates to ensure the function/task is correct and complete and take corrective action and/or training if necessary.
  • Maintain aircraft logbooks, status reports, historical and administrative data as required.
  • Comply with applicable FAA and DoD rules and regulations on maintenance and follow appropriate aircraft technical data.
  • Service aircraft with fuel, oil, etc. in preparation for flight.
  • Conduct off-station maintenance when required.
  • Effectively communicate with the customer in a courteous, professional manner and research any reported aircraft discrepancies through fault isolation to make repairs.

Required Qualifications

  • A&P Certificate under 14 CFR § 65.81, 65.85, 65.87, or 65.103.
  • Possesses at least 24 months of pertinent, verifiable, practical experience.
  • Clean & valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to obtain a DOD Common Access Card (CAC) and, if needed, a Government security clearance.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and FAA regulated drug test prior to start.
  • Post-employment will be enrolled in our Safety Sensitive Drug and Alcohol Program.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S


Preferred Qualifications

  • Airbus BK117/EC145/H145 Manufacturer’s Training Certificate preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The work environment is often not temperature/humidity controlled. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
