We are seeking a skilled and experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in aviation maintenance, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring the safety and efficiency of our aircraft. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and other relevant safety standards.


Responsibilities


- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of aircraft components and systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues using knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to identify electrical faults and ensure proper function of aircraft systems.
- Work effectively with AutoCAD and CATIA software to design and create detailed drawings and diagrams of aircraft components and systems.
- Assemble and disassemble aircraft components and systems, ensuring accurate and efficient installation.
- Conduct pre-flight inspections to ensure aircraft are airworthy and safe for operation.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including logs and reports.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and safe operation of aircraft.


Experience


- Proven experience as an aircraft mechanic, with a strong understanding of FARs and other relevant safety regulations.
- Previous experience in aircraft maintenance, including experience with electrical and mechanical systems. MD500 preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the efficient and safe operation of aircraft.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with aircraft components and systems.
- The ability to assemble and disassemble aircraft components and systems, with a focus on precision and attention to detail.
- Experience with aviation maintenance procedures and protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $30.00 - $65.00 per hour
