The Swiss Air-Rescue Rega provides professional, 24/7 medical assistance from the air to patients in Switzerland and worldwide. It is a non-profit, private foundation supported by more than 3.7 million donors.
To complement our crew at the Basel helicopter base at EuroAirport, we are looking for a new team member to start on September 1, 2027. As a dedicated individual, you are exactly the right fit for our diverse and challenging field of air rescue!
These activities will excite you
- Situation-appropriate medical care for patients in cooperation with the emergency physician.
- Ensuring safe and smooth flight operations as a crew member
- Operational tasks in the helicopter in cooperation with the pilot
- Operation of the rescue winch
- Taking on a variety of general tasks on a deployment basis to ensure 24-hour operation.
- Maintaining contact with partners and participating in expert committees
That's what makes you stand out
- Completed training as a certified paramedic (HF)
- After completing the training, at least three years of professional experience in a Swiss rescue service is required.
- Teamwork skills, a strong service orientation, and mental and physical resilience
- Enthusiasm for technology and extensive technical understanding
- Interest in alpine rescue services and safe behavior in rough terrain
- Experience with patients requiring intensive care, including pediatric patients
- German as a native language, fluent in French and good English skills
- Between 30 and 45 years old
- Residence in the Basel region
