Air Rescue UK is seeking experienced, dual-qualified Winch Operators/Winchmen to support our ongoing Ministry of Defence Search and Rescue operation in the Falkland Islands.
Successful candidates will join an established team delivering a professional, all-weather SAR capability in a demanding and highly rewarding operational environment.
Essential requirements
Applicants must have:
* A minimum of 12 months’ operational Search and Rescue flying experience as dual-trained Technical Crew.
* Experience within a military or civilian dedicated all-weather SAR helicopter unit.
* Current UK HCPC Paramedic registration, or an appropriate Level 4 emergency medical qualification
* Able to obtain UK CAA Class 2 Medical Certificate, or recognised equivalent.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit, deployed operational team.
Previous AW189 SAR experience or completion of an AW189 SAR conversion course would be advantageous.
