Blade Helicopter is a locally owned and operated Part 61 helicopter flight school based at Ogden-Hinckley Airport (KOGD) in northern Utah. The school trains pilots at all stages, from first discovery flights through advanced certifications such as Certified Flight Instructor and CFII. Operating under Part 61 allows Blade Helicopter to customize training around each student’s schedule, learning style, and goals, supporting both new learners and working pilots. The surrounding mountain terrain, changing density altitudes, and real seasonal weather provide a challenging and realistic environment that produces well-rounded pilots. As a deliberately small operation, Blade Helicopter focuses on consistent instruction, strong relationships with students, and long-term success beyond checkrides.
