About the role:
The Helicopter Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the helicopters in support of VIP and VVIP transportation missions while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, and professionalism.
Main duties include but not limited to:
* Ensure that all operational procedures and checklists are complied with, in accordance with the applicable Civil Aviation Regulations, Company Operations Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and security requirements.
* Take all measures required for safety during all phases of flight.
* Verify aircraft airworthiness and ensure all required documentation, equipment, and operational approvals are valid and available.
* Conduct thorough pre-flight planning, risk assessments, weather evaluations, and mission briefings to ensure safe mission execution.
* Delegate tasks to the crew and other suitable personnel.
* Encourage teamwork and ensure stakeholders receive all information necessary to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, experience and skills:
* Current type rating on AW189, AW139 and/or Sikorsky S-92.
* Minimum 3000 total helicopter flight hours.
* Minimum 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience.
* Minimum 100 hours PIC on type.
* Demonstrated experience in multi-crew helicopter operations.
* Previous VIP/VVIP helicopter operations experience preferred.
* Excellent knowledge of aviation regulations, operational procedures, and safety management principles.
* Proficient in English language.
* Effective communication skills.
* Strong leadership skills.
* Ability to operate in complex and demanding environments.
