Your profile
Required Experience
UK CAA ATPL(H)/IR
Class 1 Medical
Either:
1000 hours as pilot-in-command of which 500 hours are as pilot-in-command of helicopters or
1000 hours as co-pilot in HEMS operations of which 500 hours are as pilot-in-command under supervision and 100 hours pilot-in-command of helicopters
500 hours’ operating experience in helicopters gained in a similar operational environment
20 hours of VMC at night as pilot-in-command

NVIS operations
The successful candidate must:
Have the right to live and work in the UK
Be able to pass an Enhanced DBS criminal record check
Your tasks
Preparation of aircraft and flight documentation.
To follow the Operations Manual and all associated policy and procedures.
Daily flight briefings to the duty HEMS team.
The safe conduct of CAT flights for the purpose of HEMS day/night & under NVIS.
Maintaining strict time parameters and procedures in the interest of patients.
Follow SOPs issued in partnership with our charity partners.
Deliver a consistently high level of service to our customer, patients and public supporters.
Meeting customer's supporters, ex-patients and undertaking public liaison events whilst on duty
