The Rockhill Group (TRG) is seeking an experienced Helicopter Pilot Instructor to train cadet pilots under a structured, syllabus-driven military training program based in Albania. This role supports both screening and advanced phases of flight training and requires a strong commitment to excellence, safety, and instructional standardization. A military background is strongly preferred. The position supports the Albanian Air Force, and the instructor will represent TRG with professionalism as a key member of a multi-national flight training team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide flight instruction in the Bell 505 to Albanian military cadets as part of the Albanian Flight Training Program.
- Deliver training in accordance with pre-established syllabi and materials, covering both Basic and Advanced phases.
- Ensure safe flight operations and sound airmanship during all instructional flights and maneuvers.
- Conduct pre-flight briefings, post-flight debriefings, and cadet performance evaluations.
- Maintain accurate training records and provide timely feedback and progress reports for each cadet.
- Support ground screening activities, ferry flights, and simulator instruction as required.
- Adhere strictly to Bell 505 operating limitations, procedures, and training guidance.
- Assist with aircraft acceptance procedures and readiness verification.
- Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and the Bell 505 Training Manual.
- Maintain current instructional qualifications and Bell 505 proficiency.
- Coordinate closely with the Chief Flight Instructor and program leadership to ensure standardization and continuity of training.
- Participate in training meetings, instructor debriefs, and program standardization reviews.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 1,000+ helicopter PIC hours and 500+ instructional hours.
- Certified military or FAA CFI/CFII rotary-wing instructor.
- Prior experience instructing military aviators (U.S. or partner nations).
- Strong understanding of cadet evaluation, flight safety, and syllabus-based training.
- Eligible to work under ITAR/Export regulations.
- Willing and able to live/work in Albania full-time for 2 years.
- Proficient in English in an instructional environment.
- NVG and/or night flight instruction experience.
- Familiarity with NATO STANAGs and ICAO flight training regulations.
- Experience with entry-level or screening programs for military pilots.
