Rapid emergency air rescue and safe patient transport by helicopter and air ambulance – that's what the non-profit DRF Luftrettung stands for. We are one of the leading air rescue organizations in Europe and fly more than 40,000 missions a year.
Beyond regional air rescue services, DRF Luftrettung (DRF Air Rescue) deploys ambulance aircraft for the worldwide repatriation of patients when medically necessary and ordered by a physician. The staff at the operations center coordinate the repatriation: they clarify all necessary arrangements in advance, such as entry, landing, and overflight permits, as well as negotiations with authorities and hospitals abroad. Patients and their families receive comprehensive support during this stressful situation.
We are looking for support for our location in Rheinmünster immediately!
Your tasks
- Coordination of intensive care transports: You will schedule medically and economically sound intensive care transports
- Flight monitoring: You will monitor the flights of our rescue and intensive care transport helicopters. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring landing sites at individual stations via Heliwatch.
- Support: In the event of major incidents, the integrated control centers will provide support.
- Documentation: You are responsible for handling the operational documents, including filing the documentation.
- Interface Management
Your Profile
- Completed training as an emergency medical technician or paramedic (m/f/d)
- Long-term experience in emergency medical services and qualification as a dispatcher are desirable.
- Teamwork and communication skills as well as a sense of responsibility
- Good English skills; additional foreign languages are desirable.
- Willingness to work shifts
