Rapid emergency air rescue and safe patient transport by helicopter and air ambulance – that's what the non-profit DRF Luftrettung (DRF Air Rescue) stands for. We are one of the leading air rescue organizations in Europe and fly more than 40,000 missions a year.
Our crews are ready to take off 365 days a year to save lives. We operate state-of-the-art helicopters such as the H135 and H145 models with five-blade rotors, as well as two air ambulances. Our own maintenance facility is approved according to EASA Regulation Part 145 and certified according to ISO 9001. At our maintenance facility at Baden-Airpark in Rheinmünster, our highly qualified technicians ensure the airworthiness of our helicopter and aircraft fleet.
