Schedule: Day and night shift rotation with weekends as needed.

Job Summary:
HeliService USA is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized helicopter Dispatcher to join our operations in Quonset, Rhode Island. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring all helicopter flight operations and coordinating with pilots and ground crews to ensure safe, efficient, and timely dispatching of aircraft. Key responsibilities include communicating with pilots, managing flight schedules, tracking weather conditions, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, is reliable, proactive, and has the ability to multitask under pressure. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding and/or background of aviation procedures and safety protocols.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Effectively schedule daily flight operations to meet customer demands
- Communicate directly with airborne aircraft to ensure task completion
- Provide flight following and locating services to company helicopters
- Interact with Customs and Border Patrol for passenger and cargo processing
- Prepare statistics and data for customers, management, and flight operations
- Communicate with airport operations and fuel suppliers
- Proper labeling and handling of hazardous materials (HAZMAT)
- Prepare customer invoices for daily flight operations
- Coordinate and schedule required customer training
Qualifications:
Required:
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
- Quick thinking and flexible to ensure task completion
- Ability to manage several tasks and communications streams at once
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn systems
Preferred:
- Prior experience with dispatching and flight locating
- Familiarity with radio communications
- Private Pilot’s License (PPL)
- Experience with helicopter operations
