Since 1988, Luxembourg Air Rescue (LAR) has been a global leader in air rescue and air ambulance services. Backed by over 180,000 members and a team of 190+ dedicated professionals, we operate 6 state-of-the-art rescue helicopters and 5 air ambulance jets. With more than 3,000 missions annually, we are recognized worldwide for our commitment to quality, safety, and reliability.
As part of the LAR Group, Luxembourg Air Services (LAS) is expanding its air ambulance operations and is currently recruiting:
Helicopter Pilots (m/w)
Fulltime (40 H/W) or Part-Time (30-35 H/W)
Role Description
HEMS & air ambulance operations. The Pilot will operate company helicopters as defined by EASA regulations and the company operation manuals. The Pilot will also be required to accomplish administrative tasks within his skills.
Qualifications
Must-have requirements
License
- EASA (CPLH) license
- Valid EASA IR(H) Multi Engine
- Valid EASA Medical Class 1
Flight experience
- 2000 FH on helicopter
- 1500 FH as PIC RW
- 500 FH as PIC on Multi - Engine
- 250 FH IR as PIC RW
- 200 FH at night on RW
- 100 FH NVG as PIC RW
Languages
- English ICAO proficiency level 4 or higher
- Be fluent in one of the 3 Luxembourgish official languages (LU, FR, DE)
Nice-to-have requirements
- EASA ATPL(H) theory
- TRI(H)
- FI(H)
- NVG / NVG instructor
- HEMS and HHO experience
- Firefighting experience
- Valid type rating on H145
