We’re hiring a Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to our customers. This pilot will be qualified to fly our AS350/H125. Scheduled shifts run seven days on / seven days off, 12hr shifts and service day or night trips. Safety is a key pillar of our services, therefore all of our pilots work on a quality, professional team that are committed to high safety standards for the crew and our customers.
Essential Functions/Duties:
• Coordinates and communicates effectively with dispatch, medical crew, and ground contacts to ensure seamless transport operations.
• Operates the aircraft in accordance with Rotorcraft Flight Manual guidelines and company standards, prioritizing safety and regulatory compliance.
• Monitors current and forecasted weather conditions and ensures proper flight planning.
• Conducts pre-flight inspections before each shift and/or flight using the appropriate Rotorcraft Flight Manual. Records any discrepancies in the engineering log and notifies maintenance for corrective actions.
• Reports aircraft damage, malfunctions, or personnel injuries to Communications Center as soon as possible.
• Performs routine housekeeping duties in the hangar and crew quarters in coordination with medical and maintenance staff.
• Participates in cleaning and upkeep of the aircraft, including wash and wax duties.
• Completes required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner, including flight logs and reports.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Certifications:
• FAA Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter Certificate
• FAA Helicopter Instrument Rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience:
• 2,000 helicopter flight hours
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours
• 1,000 turbine hours
• Min. 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided and/or unaided)
• Meet US Forest Service Carding Requirements
o 100 Flight Hours in the Previous 12 months
o 50 Hours in the EC135
o 200 Hours Mountain time (as defined by AIM)

Pilot Incentives:
• Hourly position
• 20% geographical modifier to base pay

Physical Requirements:
• 230-pound weight limit (including flight gear)
• Frequently required to sit for extended periods
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
• Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
• Required to work near moving mechanical parts and in various weather conditions
• Frequently exposed to bloodborne pathogens, airborne particles, and in-flight vibrations
• Noise levels require wearing a headset
