Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled pilot for a Robinson R66 helicopter. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience on the R66 type, including significant hours in mountain flying. This position requires exceptional airmanship, professionalism, and a commitment to safety in challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Flight Operations: Conduct safe, efficient, and reliable flights in a Robinson R66 helicopter, adhering to all regulations and company procedures.
Mountain Flying: Execute flights in mountainous terrain with precision and confidence, ensuring passenger and cargo safety.
Pre-Flight/Post-Flight: Perform comprehensive pre-flight and post-flight inspections, ensuring airworthiness and readiness of the helicopter.
Navigation: Plan and navigate flights effectively, utilizing advanced avionics and situational awareness, especially in high-altitude and variable weather conditions.
Emergency Preparedness: Demonstrate readiness and ability to handle in-flight emergencies and adverse conditions.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to passengers, maintaining professionalism and clear communication throughout.
Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report maintenance needs promptly to ensure consistent operational safety.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with aviation regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 1,000 hours on Robinson R66 type.
Minimum of 500 hours of documented mountain flying experience.
Licensing:
Valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL-H) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL-H) with R66 endorsement.
Current Class 1 Medical Certificate.
Skills:
Advanced understanding of helicopter systems, avionics, and mountain meteorology.
Strong decision-making, situational awareness, and adaptability.
Additional Requirements:
No history of accidents/incidents.
Strong safety record and commitment to best practices.
Ability to work in remote and challenging environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with VIP transport, utility work, or aerial tours.
Additional certifications (e.g., Night Rating, Instrument Rating).
